- Toning is bull, yoga is bull for fitness.
- What exactly does "toning" mean?
Just so you know, that's not actually a word in terms of fitness. It's just something uneducated teenagers made up to describe... something. Skinny with a tan? I dunno. Whatever it is, it's pretty damn arbitrary.
Look, you can do 4 things: Gain muscle or lose muscle, and gain fat or lose fat. That's it.
If you want to improve your lower body muscles, you want to gain muscles. The best way to gain muscles is to lift weights.
Barbell squats, barbell step ups, deadlifts, SLDLs, good mornings, etc.
- Depends of what you want. If you want only to build muscles, then you can do any exercise that belongs to strength exercise. With some yoga techniques, you can also strength the muscles, but, that is not the goal of yoga, and yoga helps and in many other areas, as it is improved concentration, health, vitality, etc. As I was already said, depends on what you want, and what suits you better.
Thank you.

- You can tone your muscles through yoga.. It's my favorite way to work all the body.. The benefits, is its simplicity and effectiveness.. no hard work needed, and the results still amazing.. Don't expect results over night, though.. go on and exercise. You can combine yoga with your other forms of exercises also! See this free yoga e-course for your benefits:
