how do you wash your yoga mat?
do you thow it in the washing machine? use bleach and a sponge? throw it in the bath? what's the best way to clean a yoga mat?

- I let the dog lick mine clean. He loves yogurt!!
- i would say use a disinfectant like 409 or somthing else...but i dont think bleach would be good if u dont have a white mat

- take it to the car wash & put the high presure to it, soap it, rince it, then hang it out of ur trunk & take it for a drive & dry it. I take every thing to the car wash, so I don't have to clean up the mess.
- Depends on who you talk to...Here are a few options.
Yoga Journal recommends a soap-and-water solution (with very little soap).
Others recommend using wipes like the Jo-Sha wipes. I've seen them sold in packs of 20 for $12-$15 depending on where online you shop.
There's also mat wash that you can buy to spray on your mat and wipe off.
