Which size yoga ball and what good exercises? Ok I'm going to get a yoga exercise ball today after work.... What size ball should I get? Does it matter, and if so, why? I am a 150 pound nineteen yr old female if that matters..... Also what are some good workouts I can do using the ball to tone my body? Thanksss! <3
Yoga ball exercises? I have a small yoga ball and a medium. Does anyone know any exercises I can do to tighten my abs, make my thighs leaner, and reduce the size of my butt? (: ONE: mk. i have an exercise ball. but all i've been doing on it is crunches; 200 every other day. i want to shape out my body some more, if that makes sense. i don't know what else to do besides crunches with it. does anyone have any effective workouts i can perform using an exercise ball? Giant Yoga Ball??? What do i do with it? My dad brought me down one of the big yoga/exercise balls when he came down to see my new baby:) But i'm not sure what to do with it. The only thing i could think of was putting my feet on the floor and my back on it and doing crunchies, anything else???
Yoga ball cut in half on black flat platform, what is that piece of equipment called? Bally's and 24 hour fitness who sponsor the biggest loser have a piece of equipment that looks like a yoga or balance ball that has been cut in half and put on a round black disk style platform that people can either stand on the ball side or flip it over to use it for balancing when doing upper body exercises. I can't figure out what this piece of equipment is called so that I can buy one. Does anyone know what it is called or where I can find one? Thanks!

How to fill up an exercise ball? Hi, I have this yoga ball at home but I dont know if I should fill it up more. The box says it is a 22" ball ... I'm guessing that is the diameter of the ball, so I measured it but it's only 20" right now and it's firm so should I fill it up with more air because I'm afraid it will explode. When I sit down on the ball, it goes down one-third and I only weigh 131 pounds. Fill up more or stop? Woops...just measured the height/diameter of the ball and it is 19".

my back is a bit hunched in the middle due to long hours in office. any exercises I should do? I go to the gym about 5 days a week but i don't see that much improvement. swimming seems to be the only exercise that really helps me. do you think I should train more on machines to help my back? or do more yoga? pilates is not doing anything for me. i have a swiss ball and that helps somewhat. any tips or ideas about what sports i should do to correct that? I don't have a medical condition like scoliosis, no. it's bad posture due to long hours in front of pc screen. inside rowing, i 've tried that, but i don't think it really helped me in that specific area. help!
New at dieting, help!? So I have never had to diet/watch what I eat or exercise much before. But after getting married, having a baby and becoming a stay at home mom the weight has piled on in the last 4 years. I went from 125lbs to 150. I love all fruit and veggies, eggs, nuts, fish, but my weakness' are pasta, potatoes, rice, and bread, (which i have learned are not all that good for you) So can someone suggest an easy to follow, not to expensive diet. A simple Meal plan to follow to lose the weight. I will also be doing walking in the evenings and light exercises in the morning (5 lb. hand weights for various exercises, yoga ball and mat for abs, things like that) help me please!
Looking for a more intense Abdominal workout...? I am not overweight, and just trying to tone my body overall. It has gotten to the point where crunches don't do much for me, in that I can do a ton of them and barely feel it. I am also running and doing some light strength training, mostly with my arms. I am looking to really feel the burn of working out in my abs again. What are some exercises that I can do that will take my ab workout to the next level? I have access to a gym, so I have weights, exercise (yoga) balls, mats, and most other stuff that is in a typical gym. Any suggestions on specific exercises that really burn the abs would be great...
Anyone have exercises to help with core body strength??? My daughter's trainer says her core is just not so strong. Any suggestions of exercises to help with this. Yoga was suggested but realistically, there just isn't time in the day for her to take a yoga class. It would take 30 minutes just to get to the class. We need exercises she can do at home with an exercise ball etc. Her leg is really strong so that's a good thing, but with the accident and not being able to ride so much because of that and rain, she's weak in her core. Thanks for your help. EDIT: Yes, she had a bad horse accident 5 weeks ago. Horse reared and fell on top of her and she's still bruised (rib contusions, torn back muscle, hip contusions). She's just now getting back to riding more than twice a week. The back muscle will take a while longer to heal (about another 2-3 months they say) but she's determined to get strong.

Post pregnancy weight loss question? I had my son over six months ago. I gained 80lbs, yes 80lbs during the pregnancy. Went from 140 to 220. I have lost 45 pounds so far but in the last month I haven't lost anything. I have hit a plateau and I'm afraid I won't lose the rest. I'm breastfeeding and I eat relatively well, drinks tons of water. Because of feet problems I can't go out and walk, I use my yoga ball for exercise but it doesn't give me any cardio. Did you plateau? Did you lose more after you stopped breastfeeding? I have cut my calories to 1800 day, according to my doc that is the least I can consume without compromising the breastfeeding. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
What are some good core-strengthening excercises for a runner? I have a yoga ball, so any exercises involving one of those are fine, too. I know running is good for your core, but please don't tell me to do that because I already run 5-7 miles daily. The reason why I want to strengthen my core is because I want to get into a D1 college.

Is it bad to work out 30-45 minutes after you eat? i like to work off what i eat. So i usually wait about 45 minutes after i eat to work out. I do a lot of crunches, sit-ups, jumping rope, push ups, and exercises on a yoga ball. Is that bad?

Additional exercises.... ? Today i started on the Jillian Michles (not sure if thats how you spell it) 30 to Shred it. Which is a hardcore work out to help you lose up to 20 pounds in 30 days. It went good and its an amazing work out. I actually felt good after it and i never feel good after a work out! Anyway, along with that, i want to do some additional exercises. So what are some exercises that I can do with an exercise ball, a yoga mat and two 5 pound dumbbells? Also what kind of foods should I eat to help me lose weight better?
healthy plan for looking good in a bikini? i am not at all fat. i wear a size 2 and am 5'4 116lbs. i am almost 15 years old. i am trying veganism after christmas. i have a whole cookbook full of vegan recipes. i am thin, but not in shape and somewhat flabby. i would appreciate it if you could give me tips on what to eat to build muscle, but it has to be vegan. i have an exercise ball, treadmill, and i do yoga. what exercises should help give me a firm body?
Two questions about core exercises (ab routine)? 1. Does it make a difference whether you use the mat, bosu ball, or yoga ball when doing the exercises? 2. When working on obliques, is there a possibility for them to look different if you can reach over one side of the body further than the other? Or will just working both sides create the same results?
